Our Story.

A few high school friends, on a rescue mission for one of their brothers at the Nova Music Festival, transformed into an international aid effort for Israel overnight.

October 6th, 5 PM
David Newman Borrows our CEO, Baruch Apisdorf’s car to go to the Nova Music Festival.
October 7th, 8 AM
David Sends a text to Baruch saying to pray for him. He and his Girlfriend Noam are hiding from Hamas terrorists who have infiltrated the Nova festival.
October 7th, 12 PM
Gidon and Ezra two trained medics and friends of David Drive down south with Baruch to try and save David.
October 7th, 8 PM
Gidon and Ezra return from the south of Israel after saving countless lives, no word from David.
October 8th 11 AM
After hearing reports from Nova the fear is David has been murdered. Gidon, Ezra, Baruch, and another close friend of David, Moshe, head down south in search of David’s body.
October 8th, 7 PM
After spending the entire day down south searching for David’s body with no success they return home. Only an hour after getting home they receive the news. David has been killed.
October 8th, 9 PM
Baruch Opens a WhatsApp group called “Let's Do Something” and adds in some of David's best friends. Let's Do Something is born.
October 9th, 11 PM
A flight takes off with 20 thousand pounds of aid coordinated by Let's Do Something from a pop-up warehouse established in the home of co-founder Ike Bodner's mother.
October 10th, 7 PM
The flight arrives at Ben Gurion airport at the same exact time as David’s funeral.
October 13th, 11 PM

The flight clears customs and the aid is successfully distributed to over a thousand IDF soldiers.
October 31st
Over 120,000 pounds of aid has been shipped to Israel via EL AL cargo flights.
